Admist the silence of the morn,
In moments with my Lord
At times when days are newly born,
I find my faith restored.
For as my Father's work unfolds,
The darkness glow is gone,
And God with strokes of reds and golds,
Reveals the rays of dawn.
He sets the eagles wings in flight
Upon the morning's breeze,
As robins sing of daybreak's light
Among applauding leaves.
And as He wakens hills and dales
Caressing them with dew,
I see His care that never fails
And find my hope renewed.
