Come and search for the treasure untold,
For you'll not find it in mines of gold,
Not in palaces flowing with silk,
Nor on islands of honey and milk.
Though you have many valuable stones,
Endless kingdoms with diamonds as thrones,
In these riches, you'll seek but not find,
The true treasure that hides in your mind.
When you see it in shiny still lakes,
When you hear autumn leaves softly shake,
If you feel as when roaring winds cease,
Then you've found this great treasure called peace.
To possess precious peace in your mind,
Priceless peace from the burdens that bind,
Oh! There's not greater wealth I tell thee,
Than the peace God bestows upon me!
