THANKS BE TO GOD

Lord, in this life
there are times when we dream.....
Day after day
brings the golden light's beam.
Highways are laden
with many a rose,
Sapphire lakes where
the summer wind blows;
Joys without brudens,
Smiles without tears,
Wishes, desires
that quickly appear.

But Lord, though we pray,
though we beg, and we plead
You have the wisdom
to know what we need.
Thanks be to God.....
for the strength to endure,
Courage to walk down
the pathways made pure.
Patience and hope
and His mercy and grace.
Shelter and love
in His holy embrace.
